The scooter as leverage

Nati got his scooter. When he saw it he said "wow!". He practiced all evening but never quite put it all together to make it glide. Not to fear, I used his having a scooter to my advantage. I told Nati "only big boys have scooters... Big boys sleep in their own bed...Big boys lay down in their own bed and fall asleep on their own without holding their Mother's hand. Are you a big boy?" Yes, he said. He finally fell asleep on his own without me in the room. Granted it was after 9 o'clock. But it's a start.
