Nati's ATIN for taxes arrived

It took less than 4 weeks and the ATIN is. I can now do my taxes. I applied for the ATIN by completing IRS form W-7A. All you need to do is mail the completed form, a copy of the VISA page in your child's passport which is the I-551 stamp, and a copy of the letter from MOWA that starts with "To Whom It May Concern" and ends with was approved by the courts on x date.

I applied for the ATIN using the same name on his passport. After his readoption, I can get a SS# in his new American name and not worry about any name change issues for the SS# and getting issued a new card once his name is offically changed.
